Editorial standards
We want to be fun to watch and safe to trust. These rules apply to every Short, story and documentary.
Sources first
- Every factual claim is checked against a named source before publication. Primary sources — the research paper, the agency, the company announcement — come first.
- Every story ends with its full source list. Numbered citations show which source supports which statement.
- We never invent quotes, numbers, sources or dates.
Facts, interpretation and uncertainty
- Our own interpretation is labelled Our read, separate from reported facts.
- Every story says what is confirmed and what is still uncertain or only promised.
Images, animation and voice
- Real images from agencies and researchers are credited and shown unaltered.
- Illustrations and animations that we create are labelled as such. They explain an idea; they are not evidence.
- Our narration uses a synthetic voice. This is disclosed on YouTube and on every story.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it on the same page and note the update. See sources & corrections.
